United Nations Population Fund is UNFPA full form. It is an United Nation or UN organization. It was started in 1969 and headquartered to New York City, United States.
Earlier it was known as United Nations Fund for Population Activities and it was changed to United Nations Population Fund in 1987. According to UNFPA "is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled".

UNFPA is active in India since 1974 to provide health service and family planning.
